Fall 2026
Dear Moxie Ladies,
The following letter is from a dear friend of mine. She is someone that sows into my life through prayer and devotion to me, my family, and Moxie. She is a treasure and a rare woman of God. She did not close the letter to me with a signature, so I will allow her to remain anonymous. When I received the letter, I immediately knew it would be beautiful to share during the Fall. Here it goes:
Hi Kellie,
I was struggling with Day 22 and Day 23 about the "harvest" that Jesus saw (John 4:35). I honestly couldn't answer whether I was a 'sower' or 'harvester'. I know what I taught in the church, but looking back, I don't see how I have done either.
I am not good at evangelizing and haven't brought anyone to Christ. I began to pray, asking the Holy Spirit to take me deeper and show me what I needed to see.
I saw my garden. I realized that different seeds sprout in different ways at different times. To get spring wildflowers, you sow in the fall. You have to soak beans and peas before you plant them. Carrots and radishes always come up first and very quickly, but other seeds take time and patience before you see fruit. Broccoli grows best in cool weather, while pine cone seeds open up with fire. Yet they all need living water, good soil, and careful tending, including prayer.
I saw my children and grandchildren and realized these seeds will grow at different rates and be harvested at different times. To continue to pray, be patient, water well, and make sure the soil is good (Parable of the soil and the seeds). Patience and persistence. Be ready when the time comes, and always be sensitive to the Spirit's leading.
Thank you for letting me share this.
Love you, dear Kellie
Ladies, this dear friend questioned her impact for Christ. Yet here I am, the recipient of her love and the covering she provides over our Ministry. Does she have power in the Heavenlies? You bet! Every time we walk together, she counsels me with Scripture. To me, that is Evangelism at its finest.
I want to encourage each of you not to question your impact on the people around you. You bear the light of Christ, and you also carry His fragrance into the world, leaving little…….seeds in your wake.
I wish you a beautiful Fall. May you stop, look at the colors, and praise our glorious Lord for His paint strokes all around you.
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” — 1 Corinthians 3:6–7
I love you all dearly.
With Love ♥️& Moxie,
Kel
