Dear Moxie Ladies,
This photo was taken on our recent Moxie hike to Lake Clementine. We had so much fun together, and boy, are these gals in great shape!
So much so that I found myself doing a little bit of whining as we climbed higher and higher up the trail. Hehee.
This was a wonderful way to get to know people. I heard beautiful stories from everyone. One lady in particular shared that she has been married for fifty-seven years - to the same man! Yes, she deserves a medal, but sisters, the beauty in her story was the way she spoke so lovingly about her husband.
We stopped along the way to marvel at God’s creation all around us. Mountains, streams, rivers, waterfalls, and the fall colors were on display. If I hadn’t been with the group, I don’t think I would have paused to take it all in. No, I would have kept my eyes on the trail and kept pushing myself up the hill.
Ladies, we need each other. Moxie is more than a Bible Study. We are a growing community of women who love Jesus, each other, and having fun along the way.
