Moxie Ladies, 

Quieting myself does not come easy.  Nope, it doesn’t. 

I don’t know if God created me this way or if the violations I experienced as a child may have wound me up like the Energizer Bunny, but it takes an act of the US Congress to slow this girl down. 

And even then, I’m fidgety and flighty. 

Yet, there are times when I am victorious and able to sit in the presence of the Lord and worship Him truly for: 

His Name 

His Fame 

His Majesty 

His Salvation 

His Creation 

His Splendor 

His Holiness

His Strength 

And above all, His GLORY

When I get to this place, I find myself trembling at the weight of His glory…are you with me here, sisters?  Then I whisper, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God all almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come.”  At times like these, I think I can hear a faint chorus of angels join me in song, and I ask myself,

“If angels worship Him day and night, why can’t we?”

Ladies, God already has glory.  We recognize the glory.  We don’t give it to Him.  It’s already His. 

And there is no other god worthy of our praise.  

“Kavod” is a Hebrew word.  Try to say it out loud with me here. 

Just saying it out loud causes the weight of its meaning to descend upon those who worship the Almighty.

It embodies the force and magnitude of God that falls upon those who wait upon Him.  

The month of April ushers in the divine gift of the cross.

Please pause momentarily and thank Him for what He did so we can be FREE.  

 Jesus says "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.". John 11:25-26,
